Has Hazard just hinted that he could be staying at Chelsea?

Eden Hazard appeared to suggest he might still be a Chelsea player next season following the 1-1 draw at Manchester United.

Marcos Alonso’s equaliser took the Blues a step closer to the top-four finish which would clinch a return to the Champions League.

Hazard continues to be linked with a move to Real Madrid but, speaking to Sky Sports after the game, he perhaps dropped a hint that he believes he could stay at Stamford Bridge.

He said: “Chelsea has to play in the Champions League every year. It’s one of the biggest clubs in the world – and for myself also, I want to play in the Champions League.”

The draw kept fourth-placed Chelsea three points clear of sixth-placed United with just two matches of the Premier League campaign remaining.

But it appears that Antonio Rudiger’s season could be over. The German defender, back in the side after injury, was helped from the field in the second half with what looked like a recurrence of his knee problem.

Chelsea also lost Willian in the final minutes after he limped off following a nasty challenge from Marcos Rojo, who had a stoppage-time header cleared off the line by Pedro.

“Of the injuries, Rudiger is more serious because it’s his knee,” Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarro told reporters.
