Paper round-up: Bellerin speculation and Spurs are linked with Rabiot

Arsenal full-back Hector Bellerin has again been linked with a potential move to Manchester City.

Spanish newspaper Don Balon claimed over the weekend that the 21-year-old is not interested in a return to his former club Barcelona.

The report declared that Bellerin did not want to repeat the same error of Cesc Fabregas, who left the Gunners for his boyhood club, and “return home being overpaid and with even more pressure than the youth who have not left”.

This has prompted the Daily Mirror to speculate that City could be “in pole position” to sign Bellerin.

The same newspaper says Tottenham are considering making another offer for Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Adrien Rabiot.

Spurs had a loan approach for Rabiot turned down by PSG two years ago, when he was 19.

But the Mirror believes he could be tempted by a move to London in the summer, quoting the France youth international as saying: “If there are offers from big clubs, that obviously demands that they are considered.”

Meanwhile, the Daily Star – picking up on a report on Italian football news website Calciomercato – says AC Milan remain interested in Chelsea midfielder Fabregas, despite the Spaniard still being an integral part of Blues boss Antonio Conte’s table-topping squad.
