Paper round-up: Arsenal said to be optimistic over Enrique

The Daily Mirror say Arsenal are confident they will have the edge over Chelsea if both clubs look to appoint Luis Enrique.

The former Barcelona boss is among a host of managers to be linked with both London sides.

The Gunners’ head of football relations Raul Sanllehi worked with Enrique at Barca and the Mirror say Arsenal believe this could be all-important.

The Times say Germany boss Joachim Low is reluctant to take over from Wenger as he is concerned he would be “burnt out” after his team’s World Cup campaign in Russia.

Meanwhile, Reo Griffiths has been linked with a potential move away from Tottenham after scoring four goals in an Under-18 game.

The striker has scored 33 goals this season and starred in a 9-0 hammering of Arsenal’s youngsters on Tuesday.

And the Daily Mirror claim Griffins, 17, is attracting interest from German club RB Leipzig.

There continues to be speculation over the future of Danny Rose, who has been linked with Manchester United.

The Sun say Tottenham would want £40m plus United’s Luke Shaw if they are to sell Rose this summer.

Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino is said to be reluctant to let Rose go but potentially interested in a deal if Shaw is included as part of the package.

And the Daily Telegraph say Chelsea will snub offers for Alvaro Morata and Tiemoue Bakayoko unless they want to leave.
